Practo
Healthcare firm Practo has acquired Mumbai based Genii, a technology services
start-up focused on product design and development. With this achievement,
Genii’s founders Varun Vohra and Aditya Anand and their 11 member team will
join Bengaluru based Practo. At present, Practo provides Practo Search, an app
and web service for scheduling appointments by doctors and also Practo Ray, a
practice management solution for doctors to manage their patients and digital
healthcare records. From now on the team of Genii will help Practo tap the
enterprise space by means of products focused around hospitals and diagnostic
centers. At the moment, Practo has over 8,000 hospitals on its platform and
aiming to reach to 20,000 hospitals by the end 2015.
